SALE~SALE~SALE~~~This lovely old Eastlake dresser has been painted in two gorgeous shades of French blue milk paint. Milk paint will continue to chip over time which only adds to the aged look and the old world charm of it. This beauty, built in the 1860's, features man-made cut dovetail joinery, two glove drawers and partial white marble top, over three full width drawers with carved escutcheons, oval trimmed panels, original drop pulls and working locks and key ( not original). She is an extreemely old dresser and shows her age with all her imperfections/ character. The French blue has been complimented with pretty floral transfers on both her sides to add just a bit of interest. A soft black stencil has been added to the two glove drawers on top. The three drawers on the bottom have a peek a boo design on their sides, just because that's how I roll. This drool worthy chest will be a showstopper in any room. These pieces are great storage for linens in the bathroom as well as great storage in the dining room to hide table clothes and silverware. And of course, being a dresser, they look fabulous in the bedroom as well. The drawers slide well for a piece this old. The entire piece has been sealed for protection and longevity. But again, being milk paint, this piece will chip over time. ( to completely stop the chipping, we can seal the entire piece with varnish for an added cost). She measures 39.5"L x 18.5"D x 38"H.
